UEFA: €83.09m distributed to 183 clubs in the qualifying stages of the 2017-18 European Cups

"This season, 183 clubs have shared a total of €83m, with solidarity payments being made to all the clubs that were knocked out in the three qualifying rounds of the Champions League and the Europa League, as well as those that bowed out in the Europa League play-offs," announced UEFA, on 20/10/2017.

Champions League

"Each club that participates in the qualifying phase of the Champions League without reaching the group stage receives €260,000, in addition to the amounts distributed for its participation in the various rounds of the qualifying phase:

Domestic champions that do not qualify for the group stage receive €260,000 each, in addition to the amounts payable on account of their participation in the various qualifying rounds. Clubs that participate in the qualifying rounds and do not make it to the group stage receive the following amounts for each round contested:

• First qualifying round: €220,000
• Second qualifying round: €320,000
