Italian ultras and Lega unite to fight against the notion of "territorial discrimination"

Italian ultras, including those of AC Milan, Inter or Juventus invite supporters of other teams to fight against sanctions for "territorial discrimination", following the decision of the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) to impose a match behind closed doors to AC Milan for a song considered as discriminatory, during the match Juventus-AC Milan (3-2 on the 06/10/2013), on the 07/10/2013.

"They want to take away our right to express our support for our team. We are curious to see the interest of foreign markets with a championship played behind closed doors," said the Curva Sud, one of the supporters' associations of AC Milan.

The Lega di Serie A (the League managing Italy's first division) has addressed a letter to the Italian Federation on the 09/10/2013, asking for a reform of the code of sports justice, to separate the concepts of racism and territorial discrimination.
