Twitter: 66.8 million followers in total for the 20 Premier League clubs (December 2017)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2017-18 Premier League season have a cumulative 66.8 million followers on the social network Twitter , according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/12/2017. The Premier League ranks first in the European Top 5 with an average of 3.34 million followers per club.

Manchester United, the most-followed English club on Twitter, surpassed 16 million followers (16,069,306) and had the largest increase in volume (662,830) and percentage (+4.3%) compared to on 01/11/2017.

In total, the 20 Premier League clubs drew 2,089,636 new followers in November 2017, 74.4% more than the 58 clubs of Ligue 1 Conforama, Serie A Tim and Bundesliga combined (1,198,157).

The figures taken into account for this ranking concern only the main account of each club on Twitter.
