"Inter Campus (social and educational project for children in difficulty around the world, created in 1997 by FC Internazionale Milano, Serie A TIM) is to return to the UN for the high-level event on 'Crime Prevention and Sustainable Development through Sports', organised by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) on Monday, 09/04/2018 at the United Nations headquarters in New York (USA)," announced Inter on 06/04/2018, the occasion of the United Nations' "international day of sport for development and peace."

"The 2030 agenda for sustainable development (see below) underlines the growing contribution of sports as a tool for peace in its promotion of tolerance, respect and crime prevention. The event represents an important new opportunity for the Inter Campus project to share its first-hand experience in the field of children’s rights," added the Milanese club.

In addition to Inter, Dikembe Mutombo (former NBA basketball player and president of a foundation) and Xavi Hernandez (former Spanish international and former FC Barcelona player) will speak at the conference.
