With more than 222 million fans on social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, on 01/09/2018), Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) has 16 times more than AS Roma (Serie A TIM), which counts nearly 13.6 million, as the two teams prepare to face each other on Matchday 1 of Group G of the 2018-19 Champions League, at the Santiago Bernabeu (Madrid, ESP), on Wednesday 19/09/2018 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

The Madrid squad is valued at €969m according to an assessment from the website transfermarkt.de, on 19/09/2018. AS Roma, for its part, spent €295m composing its squad, which is valued at €369m.
