€125.44m of the revenues from the 2017-18 Champions League and Europa League (an amount +0.86% compared to the €124.37m in 2016-17) will be distributed to "European top-division clubs in increased solidarity payments from UEFA this year to develop their youth programmes," indicated UEFA on 25/10/2018.

80% of this solidarity payment (€100.35m) is distributed through the 17 Federations and Leagues of which at least one club has participated in the group stage of the 2017-18 Champions League and 20% (€25.08m) to the other 38 countries (see tables below).

"Only clubs not participating in the group stage of either the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League in 2017-18 will be entitled to a share of these solidarity payments," said UEFA.

Clubs in the Top 5 countries (England, Italy, Spain, France and Germany) account for €51.79m million of these payments, or 41.2% of the total amount.
