The DFL (German Professional Football League) has signed a cooperation agreement with Exit Deutschland association, which helps people from extreme right groups to leave them, on the 19/01/2014. The announcement was made by Andreas Rettig, executive director of the DFL, and Thomas Schneider, responsible for fan relations in the league, during the second edition of the German fan congress, organised by the DFL in Berlin.

"We (football officials) have to clearly position ourselves against extreme right, and be more active on the subject. Exit, Nazis!" said Andreas Rettig at the end of the conference.

The DFL will donate € 50,000 in 2014 and 2015 to the Exit association, following the PFIFF programme (Pool for the promotion of innovative football and fan culture), launched by the German League, on the 05/12/2013.

  • The second edition of the German fans congress gathered nearly 700 participants in Berlin on the 18 and 19/01/2014.
    • Participants came from 86 groups of German fans, from the DFL and from the DFB (German Football Association), the police, political parties and associations
