"We've been saying for a long time that we shouldn't talk about piracy to avoid advertising it, but that's over. All sectors combined, it represents a loss of €1.2bn because of it enriches people who do not share their profits. The coming audiovisual law (in France) in 2019 makes us think that there is real momentum in the fight against piracy. We are working hand in hand with members of parliament to be effective," said Julien Taieb, director of legal affairs at the LFP, during the workshop "Audiovisual piracy: the biggest danger to professional sports?", as part of Think Football 2019 on 07/02/2019.

Julien Taieb joined Arnaud Decker, chairman and founder of AdValorem and institutional relations and public affairs advisor for beIN Sports, and Mathieu Moreuil, director of international football relations and European affairs for the Premier League, in this workshop during the third edition of Think Football, organised by News Tank Football at INSEEC U. Sport (Paris, FRA).
