LaLiga: the Spanish league to manage the accounts of 12 clubs on the Chinese social network Weibo

"For the first time, LaLiga will generate content and directly manage the Sina Weibo accounts of twelve clubs. It will also provide content strategy and community management to all clubs seeking to broaden their presence in the Asian market," said the Spanish league, on 19/02/2019.

This service has been offered free of charge by LaLiga to all clubs in the first two Spanish divisions and is already used by SD Huesca, Levante UD, SD Eibar and RC Celta (LaLiga Santander), as well as CA Osasuna, CD Numancia, Cadiz CF, Albacete BP and UD Las Palmas (LaLiga 1|2|3). The official accounts of these clubs on Weibo - which have 446 million active users each month - were launched on Chinese New Year (entry into the Year of the Pig) on 05/02/2019.
