Bundesliga: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 18 clubs (March 2019)

The 18 clubs involved in the 2018-19 Bundesliga season have more than 117 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/03/2019. The Bundesliga is the fourth most popular Top 5 league on these three social networks, behind LaLiga Santander, the Premier League and the Serie A TIM, with an average of 6.5 million fans per club.

FC Bayern Munich is the most popular German club with more than 70 million fans, far ahead of Borussia Dortmund with 25 million. FC Schalke 04 completes the Bundesliga podium with nearly 4.2 million fans.

Bayern is the fastest-growing German club on these three social networks. The Bavarian club gained more than 200,000 followers on Instagram in February 2019, nearly as many as RB Leipzig's total number of followers on Instagram.
