British Members of Parliament have called for a "robust attack" on the Saudi pirate broadcaster beoutQ, accused of stealing content from "100 UK based TV channels" including the public TV channel the BBC, the free and private TV channels ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and the pay-TV operator Sky, on 08/05/2019.

"The (UK) embassy in Riyadh (KSA) is speaking to the Saudis on this subject," said Jeremy Wright, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. beoutQ was first discussed in British Parliament on 25/04/2019.

The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) placed Saudi Arabia on its priority watch list (along with 10 other countries, see list below) in the 2019 Special 301 Report, on 25/04/2019. The report highlights governments that fail to protect and enforce intellectual property around the world.

The USTR also names the Saudi pirate entity beoutQ in its other major annual report the "'2018 Notorious Markets List" which identifies websites and physical markets that engage in large-scale piracy or counterfeiting. beoutQ is one of the 33 websites on the…
