Liga NOS: 43,741 season ticket holders for SL Benfica in 2019-20, a record for a Portuguese club

"A grand total of 43,741 season tickets have been sold, which represents a record for both Sport Lisboa e Benfica (Liga NOS) and for Portuguese football," announced the Lisbon (POR) club on 17/07/2019. "These figures represent an increase in sales of 6.4% compared to last season's total and an increase of 36.3% compared to sales made on the same date last year," added the club.

In addition to the club's sporting success (5 Portuguese league titles in the last 6 seasons) and the quality of the game offered by its first team, SL Benfica explained the increase in the number of subscriptions by the advantages that are offered to "Red Pass" (season ticket) holders, in particular the priority purchase they have for European Cup matches, as well as away matches and finals in domestic competitions, and the possibility of easily lending tickets or selling seats for a match via the official club's platform.
