Bundesliga: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 18 clubs (November 2019)

The 18 clubs competing in the 2019-20 Bundesliga season have nearly 123 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/11/2019. The Bundesliga is the fourth most popular Top 5 league on these three social networks, behind LaLiga Santander, the Premier League and the Serie A TIM, with an average of over 6.8 million fans per club.

FC Bayern Munich is the most-popular German club with more than 73 million fans, far ahead of Borussia Dortmund with 27 million. FC Schalke 04 completes the Bundesliga podium with nearly 4.4 million fans.

Borussia Mönchengladbach was the German club that posted the best growth in absolute value and percentage growth on Facebook during the month of October 2019. On Twitter and Instagram, FC Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig experienced the best growth, with Bayern posting the most followers on Twitter, and Leipzig posting the best percentage growth on Instagram.
