Brazil 2014: end of the second sales phase, a total of 2.57 million tickets already allocated

A total of 2,577,662 tickets for the 2014 World Cup (Brazil, 12/06 to 13/07/2014) have been allocated across all phases of sales and all channels (including the hospitality programme), said FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) at the end of the second period of the second sales phase, which ended on 01/04/2014.

This phase of sales, which began on 12/03/2014 on a "first come, first served" basis, saw 301,929 tickets sold from a total of 345,000 tickets available. Brazil, the United States, Colombia, Australia, Argentina and England are the countries that bought the most tickets.

Data from all sales phases show that 1,591,435 tickets have been allocated to supporters: 65% of which were to Brazilians and 35% were to fans in the rest of the world. After Brazil (1,041,418 tickets), countries that bought the most tickets were the United States (154,412), Australia (40,681), England (38,043) and Colombia (33,126).

A last minute sales phase, based on a "first come, first served" basis will begin on 15/04/2014 at 12:00 CET (Central European Time) and will continue until…
