Germany: "France and Portugal (in Germany's Euro 2020 group) a stroke of luck" (F. Keller, DFB)

"With world champions France and European champions Portugal we not only got the most difficult group in Bucharest, but also the most interesting one. That was not bad luck, but a stroke of luck," said Fritz Keller, president of the German Football Association (DFB) in his end-of-year message on 31/12/2019, regarding Euro 2020, the draw of which took place in Bucharest (ROU) on 30/11/2019.

Group F of Euro 2020, whose matches will take place in Munich (GER) and Budapest (HUN), will feature play-off winners (A or D, matches on 26 and 31/03/2020), Portugal, France and Germany (see detailed schedule below). "The games that all football fans want to see will already be played in the group stage," said Fritz Keller.

The DFB president, who was elected on 27/09/2019, also refered to the four Euro 2020 matches in Munich (see schedule below), the development of women's football and the importance of voluntary work in his message, which News Tank Football has reproduced in full below.
