Premier League: young players from Man City, Middlesbrough and Norwich meet with Holocaust survivors

Young players from Manchester City FC (Premier League), Middlesbrough FC (Sky Bet Championship) and Norwich City FC (Premier League) met with two Holocaust survivors at the Jewish Museum London (ENG), during the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, which marked the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau (Poland) by the Red Army on 27/01/1945, according to the Premier League on 27/01/2020.

The action was part of a programme conducted since September 2019 by the English league, in partnership with the Holocaust Educational Trust, to combat hate crimes and antisemitism. 14 Premier League clubs have committed to the programme, which is designed for their U14 teams, with projects planned throughout the 2019-20 season. Among other things, two players from each club will be designated "ambassadors" of the programme and will travel to Auschwitz-Birkenau to visit the extermination camp.
