Covid-19: English Football League pledges £50m to help second, third and fourth division clubs

The English Football League, which is in charge of the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League One and Sky Bet League Two, will provide a £50m (€54m) "short-term relief package" for the clubs of the three championships, announced the body on 18/03/2020.

"The FA, Premier League, EFL and women's professional game, together with the PFA (Professional Footballers Association) and LMA (League Managers Association) collectively agreed that the professional game in England will be further postponed until no earlier than 30/04/2020," on 19/03/2020, in the face of the Coronavirus pandemic which has already infected 8,077 people and killed 422 people in the United Kingdom as of 24/03/2020.
