Covid-19: Borussia Dortmund transforms the Signal Iduna Park into a Coronavirus treatment centre

Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) are transforming their stadium, the Signal Iduna Park (81,365 capacity), in to a Coronavirus treatment centre, announced the German club on 03/04/2020. "Starting from tomorrow, Saturday (04/04/2020), it is medical care - for coronavirus patients and suspected cases, as well as for patients experiencing related complaints - rather than football that will take centre-stage in the North Stand area."

Borussia Dortmund will be working alongside the KVWL (Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians for Westfalen-Lippe, GER), in order to operate the treatment centre (see below), which "will be open every day between 12:00 CET and 16:00 CET, with no prior registration required," said the club.
