Financial Fair Play: Paris SG and other clubs involved will soon know their fate

The investigative chamber of the CFCB (Club Financial Control Body) will meet in order to complete the examination of the financial situation of clubs who risk sanctions for non-compliance with financial fair play regulations on 01 and 02/05/2014.

This UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) organisation, whose principal investigator is the former Belgian Prime Minister Jean-Luc Dehaene, will examine the records of 20 clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1), Manchester City (Premier League) and Inter Milan (Serie A).

Measures may be imposed on the Parisian club by UEFA, according to the French sports magazine L'Equipe, which stated on 26/04/2014 that there may be a "supervision of payroll, a limitation on transfers and players involved in the Champions League and a return to balanced accounts within two years."

It is also possible that UEFA will retain a portion of the money earned by Paris SG (€55.1m) from their 2013-14 participation in the Champions League (Article 29 E of the rules of procedure governing the CFCB).
