The FA (Football Association) had a turnover of £209m (€254m) for the financial year 2013, the English association announced in presenting its annual results on 23/04/2014. This represents a decrease of £108.5m (€132m), or 34.2%, compared to fiscal year 2012 (£317.5m, €386m).

This decrease is explained by the change in the fiscal year used by the FA, which went from the calendar year for 2012 (01/01 to 31/12/2012), to a fiscal year based on the football season (from 01/08 to 31/07/2013). At the end of the first seven months of 2013, the FA had generated an operating profit of £38m (€46.2m), compared to £68.8m (€83.7m) on 31/12/2012. The English federation had a net profit of £20.5m…
