Financial fair play: Financial authority continues analysis of nine cases

"UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) can confirm that of the 237 clubs that entered the 2013/14 UEFA club competitions (and were thus subject to this season's break-even requirements), 76 were requested to submit additional information. From that group, the examination as regards 67 clubs has come to an end and continues only in relation to the nine remaining clubs," UEFA said in a statement released 02/05/2014.


The CFCB (Club Financial Control Body of UEFA) Investigatory Chamber met on 01 and 02/05/2014 to examine the situation of clubs who risk sanctions for non-compliance with financial fair play regulations.

Notably, this UEFA group, whose chief investigator is the former Belgian Prime Minister Jean-Luc Dehaene, is looking into Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1), Manchester City (Premier League), and Inter Milan (Serie A).
