Sixth UEFA benchmarking report: Checking up on European clubs' finances
The cumulative turnover of European first division clubs grew by 28.2% over five years, from €11bn in 2007 to €14.1bn in 2012. Over the same period, annual losses of these clubs doubled, from €515m in 2007 to €1.088bn in 2012, but fell by €600m per year since 2010, when they reached a record €1.7bn.
