"The FIFA Women's World Cup 2019 made a direct, indirect and induced contribution of €284m to France's GDP, with a net capital gain of €108m to French GDP generated by the competition," according to a report on the socio-economic and environmental legacy left by the tournament published by the FFF and the Local Organising Committee on 06/07/2020, one year after the United States' victory versus the Netherlands (2-0) in the final at the Groupama Stadium in Lyon (FRA) on 07/07/2019.
