Albion Rovers (League Two, Scottish 3rd division), the Coatbridge club, are allowing supporters to set their own subscription pricing for the 2014-15 season, with a minimum of £10 pounds (€12.23), they announced on 08/05/2014.

This initiative, called "Pay What You Can", aims to fill the stands of Cliftonhill Stadium (capacity 2,496, including 489 seats) and to help fund its renovation. The initiative was tested during the Albion Rovers - Montrose match (1-0, on 12/01/2014), allowing fans and visitors to pay what they thought their teams deserved, with a minimum price of one pound (€1.22).

With this promotion, the club hopes to reopen an unused section of the stands and double the average attendance, which is at about 500 spectators.
