FIFA: revenues of €682m in 2019, pre-tax target of €85m for 2019-2022 despite Covid-19

"The results for 2019 - the first year of the 2019-2022 cycle - show that FIFA consolidated its solid financial position and was performing well within budget, with a higher revenue than forecast ($766m/€682m instead of $722m/€643m) and all expense categories under control ($1.046bn/€931m in expenditure versus $1.226bn/€1.091bn provided for in the estimated budget)," announced the International Federation on 19/08/2020.

FIFA is presenting its Annual Report 2019 (see link below), which will be submitted for approval at the 70th Congress, initially scheduled to take place in Addis Ababa (ETH) but which will now be held via a videoconference from Zurich (SUI) on Friday 18/09/2020.

"Thanks to this strong financial footing, the organisation is in a position to provide much-needed support to the football community during the unprecedented crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic," added the international body, which will also present its 2019-2022 budget revised in light of the pandemic (see document available to download), which does not call into question its confirmed pre-tax profit…
