"I think the example of Spotify for the sports industry is both a good one and a bad one, because they have been losing money for years. So we have to have a discussion on that business model, and its sustainability. I think just lowering the price and hoping that piracy will be gone is not true. Obviously, an attractive pricing and business model is key, but the entire industry has to take responsibility to protect our product, protect our entire business model," said Guillaume Collard, managing director for Belgium/Luxembourg of the pay-TV group Eleven  and responsible for Eleven's global rights acquisitions, who spoke on the current sports media landscape during e-Think Sport 2021 on 28/01/2021.
