The Ligue de Football Professionnel has presented a media activation plan on the social network TikTok for the end of the 2020-21 season, "in order to meet the expectations of football fans in France and internationally and to engage them more and more," explained the LFP on 12/04/2021.

Four new operations are proposed:
• The #PenaltyGame challenge which offers the possibility of putting yourself in the shoes of a Ligue 1 goalkeeper.
• A game of predictions over four matchdays of the championship.
• A third challenge and a third TikTok live will be organised at the end of May 2021 (see details below).

The League has already hosted two live streams on TikTok, as well as the #JoueLaComme (or #BendItLike for international fans) challenge which "allowed users to replicate the most iconic goal celebrations of Ligue 1 Uber Eats players. In one week, the #JoueLaComme campaign generated more than 200 million views worldwide". The LFP launched its "ligue1ubereats" TikTok channel on 04/10/2019. It has 1.3 million subscribers as of 12/04/2021.
