2013-14 Europa League: UEFA to split €209m between 56 participating clubs

The 56 clubs that participated in the 2013-14 edition of the Europa League (48 in the group stage and eight pulled out of the round of 32 after finishing third in their groups in the League of Champions) were paid €209m, UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) announced on 25/06/2014. The amounts distributed, €125.5m of which is fixed and €83.5m of which is from television rights, are identical to those of the 2012-13 season.

FC Sevilla (Liga BBVA), the winner of the competition, got the largest amount: €14.6m. Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1), eliminated in the quarterfinals (€10.1m) and Lazio (TIM Serie A), eliminated in round of 16 (€9.4m) were second and third in income.

The second French club, FC Girondins de Bordeaux, were eliminated in the group stage and got €5.8m.
