Serie A: French company Bmyteam to let Sampdoria fans incorporate personal photos into team shirt

French company Bmyteam will help Sampdoria (Serie A) fans put photos of themselves on the team shirt during 2014-15 Italian league fixtures, the club announced on 04/07/2014.

The crowd-funding sponsorship company headquartered in Aix-en-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône) and the kit supplier Kappa enable supporters to incorporate 30mm2 pictures of fans into players' numbers on the back of the shirt. The price for these photos is €15, and profits will be donated to a hospital for children in Genoa, Sampdoria said. This is the first time Bmyteam has signed a partnership with the Italian club.

The company has already put in place the same offer with some French teams, including, in Ligue 1 (2013-14): AS Saint-Etienne, Stade de Reims, Olympique Lyonnais, FC Lorient, OGC Nice, Evian-Thonon-Gaillard and Valenciennes FC. In Ligue 2, the company has worked with Stade Brestois, Berrichonne de Châteautoux, Clermont Foot and FC Metz.
