The New Zealand pay-TV and free-to-air group Sky Network Television Limited has acquired the broadcasting rights to the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 for New Zealand, announced FIFA on 13/07/2021. The competition, the first 32-team event, will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

"Sky will show all 64 matches of the Women's World Cup 2023, the biggest event in the international women's game, on its Sky platforms in New Zealand. One match per day, including the key matches in the tournament and all games involving the New Zealand team, will be made available nationwide on a free-to-air basis to encourage even more viewers to experience and enjoy women's football," explained FIFA.

Sky was previously the broadcaster in New Zealand for the Women's World Cup 2019 held in France and also holds the broadcast rights from FIFA, for the 2022 Men's World Cup in Qatar.
