The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has posted a $6.9m (€5.9m) deficit for the 2020 financial year disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic, according to the body in its 2020 annual report published on 25/07/2021.

The ITF's annual revenues have been significantly reduced to $35.6m (€30.3m) in 2020, less than half the $88.7m (€75.4m) in 2019. Davis Cup licence fees generated just $10.3m (€8.75m), down from $40.3m (€34.3m) in 2019.

The document also revealed that the ITF borrowed $3m (€2.55m) in the form of an interest-free loan from the IOC in 2020 as revenue from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which was postponed until 2021.
