Premier League: Tanzanian national tourism bureau extends with Sunderland in 2014-15

The Tanzanian national tourism bureau extended its partnership with Sunderland AFC (Premier League) in 2014-15, the club announced on 26/08/2014. The two parties are partners since 2013-14.

The Tanzanian brand will be displayed on LED advertising during Sunderland's home fixtures in the Stadium of Light (capacity 48,300). The brand will also feature on the club's communications.

Sunderland continue their strategy aimed towards the African market after the shirt sponsorship agreement signed with Bidvest, the South-African distributor of food products, the sponsorship agreement signed with the South-African airline company South-African Airways and the charity partnership concluded with the Nelson Mandela foundation on 28/02/2013.

  • Sunderland AFC and D.C. United (MLS, Major League Soccer, North American professional football league) signed a sports and commercial sponsorship on 08/08/2014.
