Women's Champions League quarter-final: 8.9 million views on YouTube (4 million for Barça - Real)

The videos of the 2021-22 Women's Champions League quarter-final first and second legs, played from 22/03 to 31/03/2022, recorded over 8.95 million views on YouTube, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 05/04/2022.

The two matches between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF (8-3 on aggregate for Barça) alone recorded more than 4 million views: 2.337 million for the second leg (1.28 million in Spanish and 1.057 million in English) and 1.73 million for the first leg (1.011 million in Spanish and 719,000 in English).

These figures only take into account match streams and not highlights. The most viewed video on the DAZN YouTube channel dedicated to the Women's Champions League is the English-language highlights of the second leg of the Barça - Real Madrid match (1.3 million views), which took place on 05/04/2022. This match posted a record attendance (91,553 spectators) for a women's football match (see related article).
