FIFA has launched a call for tenders for the broadcasting rights, in France, to the Women's World Cup 2023 (hosted by Australia and New Zealand), on 02/06/2022.

"Media companies or organisations wishing to participate in the tender process can request the ITT by sending an email to France-media-rights@fifa.org. FIFA must receive all bid submissions by 10:00 CET on Tuesday, 05/07/2022," said FIFA.

During the Women's World Cup 2019 (held in France), the TF1 group broadcast the 25 top fixtures from the 52 matches of the competition: 11 matches from the group stage, six Round of 16 matches, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, the match for third place and the final. The Canal+ group broadcast all 52 matches, 27 of them on the pay-TV channel Canal+ and the other 25 on the pay-TV channel Canal+ Sport. TF1 acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights to the competition for €12m, before selling the rights to all matches to Canal+ for pay-TV.
