Women's Euro 2022: 7 million viewers for Germany - France in France, 12.19 million in Germany

Germany - France (2-1), the second semi-final of the Women's Euro 2022, played in front of 27,445 people at the MK Stadium in Milton Keynes (England), drew an average of 6.23 million viewers on the private free-TV channel TF1 on Wednesday 27/07/2022 (kick-off at 20:00 local time, 21:00 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie, communicated by TF1.

This figure represented an audience share of 32.6% (33% among 11-14 year olds, 57% among 15-24 year olds and 48% among men under 50) and ranked the channel at the top of the French audiovisual market at prime time on 27/07/2022. This is the best audience for a women's sports event, all sports combined, since the Women's World Cup 2019, and the best ever audience in France for a women's Euro match all channels combined.

The match was also broadcast by the pay-TV channel Canal+, where it drew an average of 811,000 viewers, for a total of 7.04 million viewers in France.
