British company Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd, which has been part of the Sony group since 2011, has been appointed by the National Basketball Association as a "provider of officiating and 3D optical tracking technology" that will be introduced for the first time in the NBA from 2023-24, announced the body on 09/03/2023.
