"Former top sportsmen and women are not always aware that they can use their skills in their career. Our first job is often to reassure them, to tell them that they have unique and valuable skills, and to make them feel confident. They have a lot to contribute, and not just to look good in the photo, whether it be on the issues of football's evolution, its management, its impact or its importance.
