Serie A TIM/transfers: Juventus FC's sanction reduced to a 10-point deduction

• Withdrawal of 10 points from the 2022-23 Serie A TIM table for Juventus FC
• acquittal of former vice-president Pavel Nedved and six other current and former club officials.

These are the decisions handed down on 22/05/2023 by the FIGC Court of Appeal, which had initially sanctioned the club with a withdrawal of 15 points and sentenced a number of executives to a ban of between 8 and 30 months during the appeal judgement in the trial on transfer capital gains considered fictitious and irregular, which had been opened before the National Federal Court of the Italian Football Federation on 20/01/2023.

Following this decision, Juventus lodged an appeal with the Sports Council of the Italian National Olympic Committee, which referred the case to the FIGC Court of Appeal for a re-examination of the sanctions and a clarification of the reasons, on 20/04/2023. However, CONI confirmed the ban on ex-president Andrea Agnelli (24 months) and three other former directors (from 16 to 30 months).
