Premier League: Brighton sanctioned after registering a young player from another club's academy
Brighton & Hove Albion FC (Premier League) have been banned for six months (from 28/10/2024, plus one year suspended) from recruiting any player from the academy of another Premier League or EFL club and fined £20,000 (€24,200) as part of a sanction agreement signed with the English league, according to the latter on 09/12/2024.
