Pro Football Barometer: "The situation for French clubs is worrying" (B. Belgodère, Foot Unis)

"We have to be concerned about the situation for French clubs, who have lost 30% to 50% of their revenue due to the drop in audiovisual rights, while their competitors in Europe are seeing their rights stabilise. The clubs that qualify for the European Cups are performing well in sporting terms, but the economic situation isn't good. French clubs are having to make savings and there are even fears of redundancy plans," said Bruno Belgodère, deputy managing director in charge of economic affairs at Foot Unis, to News Tank Football on 13/12/2024.
