Financial Fair Play: UEFA clears Liverpool FC and Sparta Praha, four other clubs sign settlements

The CFCB (Club Financial Control Body) has found Liverpool FC (Barclays Premier League) and AC Sparta Praha (CZE) to have satisfied the "break-even" requirements of the UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) Financial Fair Play rules, and are no longer under investigation, announced UEFA on 27/02/2015.

Additionally, four clubs under investigation by the CFCB Investigatory Chamber have been in non-compliance of the "break-even" regulations: Hull City AFC (Premier League), Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC (ISR), Panathinaikos FC (GRE) and Ruch Chorzów (POL). All four clubs have signed settlement agreements with UEFA where each club will pay a €200,000 fine and remain under investigation by the CFCB.

The CFCB is no longer investigating two clubs, opens procedures into two Russian clubs

  • PFC Levski Sofia (BUL) and Trabzonspor AŞ(TUR) were found "to have fully complied with the terms of their (settlement) agreements," stated UEFA on 27/02/2015.
    • These two clubs are no longer being monitored by the CFCB.
  • Investigations for possible "break-even" infractions have been opened into FC
