FIFA: record 139 active NGOs in 58 countries to benefit from the Community Programme in 2025 & 2026

A record number of 139 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in 58 countries on six continents will benefit from FIFA's "Community Programme" in 2025 and 2026, announced the International Federation on 13/01/2025. Among them, 57 organisations and four countries (Bolivia, Malawi, Sri Lanka and Yemen) will be involved for the first time in the scheme, which was launched in 2018.

"The funded projects use the power of football to address the most pressing global challenges facing the communities in which they operate. With a focus on underprivileged children and young people, the projects benefit Indigenous peoples, migrants, people with disabilities, members of national, ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities, refugees, asylum seekers and internally displaced people, among other vulnerable groups," explained FIFA.
