GL events: signature of the concession contract for the Stade de France (2025-2055)

GL events, a group specialised in the event industry, announced that it had signed the concession agreement for the Stade de France (Saint-Denis, Paris, FRA) with the French government on 12/06/2025. The French company, based in Lyon (Rhône), will thus be able to operate the stadium built for the 1998 Football World Cup for a period of 30 years, from 05/08/2025 to 04/08/2055.

This signature is the direct consequence of the rejection, on the same day, by the Administrative Court of Montreuil, of the appeal lodged by the Stade de France Consortium. The Vinci-Bouygues duo, which has held the current concession since 1995 (Vinci, 67% - Bouygues, 33%), wanted to continue its mission and challenged the French government's decision to enter into exclusive negotiations with GL events. The Conseil d'État (Council of State) rejected a previous appeal on 17/04/2025, confirming the decision of the court of first instance.
