2.5 million tickets will be available to purchase for the Rugby World Cup 2027, which will be held from 01/10 to 13/11/2027 in Australia, according to World Rugby, which presented the ticketing programme for the event on 29/07/2025.

The organisation intends to sell more tickets for this event, which will be expanded to 24 teams (compared with 20 in 2023), than for previous men's Rugby World Cups. A record 2.43 million tickets were sold for the Rugby World Cup 2027 played in France.

"Making the tournament as accessible as possible for everyone has been a key focus," explained the body. One million tickets (or 40%) will be sold for less than AU$100 (€56), "across every stage of the tournament." Admission is set at AU$40 (€22.4) for group matches. With the exception of the semi-finals and final, a children's price of AU$20 (€11.2) is available for each match.

Pre-sale registrations are open from 29/07/2025, until the end of January 2026, while the pre-sale will open in February 2026, before the official opening of ticketing in May 2026. Buyers will then be able to access the platform…
