Tennis: Sally Bolton to step down as chief executive of the AELTC after Wimbledon 2026

Sally Bolton will step down as chief executive of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (AELTC) following the 2026 edition of Wimbledon (scheduled from 19 June to 12 July 2026), the Grand Slam tournament organiser announced on 18 May 2026.

After joining the AELTC in 2016 as corporate affairs director, Sally Bolton successively became strategic planning & operations director (2018-2020) before being appointed chief executive in August 2020. "Sally Bolton has led the Club through a period of significant change and challenge. She oversaw Wimbledon’s return following the global pandemic, ensuring the successful and safe resumption of The Championships and restoring the event’s position at the pinnacle of world sport," the AELTC said.
