Eintracht Frankfurt: Axel Hellmann’s contract as CEO extended until 30 June 2031

The supervisory board of Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) has extended CEO Axel Hellmann’s contract until 30 June 2031, the club announced on 03 June 2026.

The extension "underlines Eintracht Frankfurt’s commitment to maintaining continuity, stability and a clear strategic direction at the highest level of the club." A qualified legal practitioner, Hellmann has been a member of the executive board of Eintracht Frankfurt’s commercial entity (Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG) since 2012 and its CEO since 2021. He was also a member of the executive committee of the club’s association (Eintracht Frankfurt e.V.) between 2001 and 2012.

"Axel Hellmann will continue to be responsible for the club’s overall strategy and business development, in particular the digital business models of the commercial entity. He will also retain responsibility for the Communications & Brand and Marketing & Partnerships divisions, as well as the Institutional Relations, People & Corporate Culture and Sustainability departments."
