The “Atlanta Stadium” in Georgia (USA), with a 2026 World Cup capacity of 68,239, is hosting eight matches during the tournament (see schedule below), including the England - Argentina semi-final on 15 July (kick-off: 21:00 CET).

Designed by the American architectural firm HOK and inaugurated in 2017 at a total construction cost of $1.6bn, the stadium is one of the 16 host venues for the 2026 World Cup co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The venue is owned by the State of Georgia through the public Georgia World Congress Center Authority and features 193 suites and 7,500 premium seats.

German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz holds the naming rights to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium until 2042, under an agreement estimated to be worth between $15m and $20m per year.
