2026-27 LALIGA EA Sports: Matchday 1 attendance (32,538 spectators on average per game)

Matchday 1 of the 2026-27 LALIGA EA Sports season drew an average of 32,538 spectators per game across the first six matches, from Friday 14 to Wednesday 19 August 2026. The average stadium fill rate was 86.1%.

Four matches from Matchday 1 have been postponed:
• Valencia CF - Real Betis Balompié, Real Madrid CF - Real Sociedad and FC Barcelona - Athletic Club Bilbao following an agreement between LALIGA and AFE to ensure sufficient preparation time for clubs whose players returned late from the 2026 World Cup;
• RC Celta - Club Atlético Osasuna due to the poor condition of the pitch at the Abanca Balaídos stadium in Vigo (Galicia), which was affected by a fungus.

These four matches will be played from Tuesday 25 to Thursday 27 August 2026.
