The NFL has signed a contract with the RFU (Rugby Football Association), the owner of Twickenham stadium (82,000 seats, London, ENG) to play three regular-season matches per year at the stadium until 2019, announced the league, on 03/11/2015. The agreement will come into effect from October 2016.

"We are committed to continuing to grow our sport in the UK and believe that adding Twickenham Stadium to our roster of host venues in London is further evidence of that commitment," said Mark Waller, executive vice-president of the NFL, on 03/11/2015.

The NFL has extended its agreement with Wembley National Stadium Limited (a subsidiary of the FA), the operating company for Wembley Stadium (90,000 seats, London), to play at least two regular-season games per year in the stadium until 2020, on 22/10/2015. Tottenham Hotspur FC also announced an agreement with the NFL to host a minimum of two games per season in their new stadium for 10 years (2018-2027), on 08/07/2015.
