"The French Football Federation shares the emotions that shake the nation following the tragic events that occurred on Friday (13/11/2015) in Paris and around the Stade de France, where a match between France and Germany took place. The FFF shares the pain of bereaved families and relatives," said Noël Le Graët, president of the FFF, in a statement released on 14/11/2015.

Terrorist attacks left at least 129 dead and over 300 wounded on the evening of 13/11/2015 in Paris and near the Stade de France in Saint-Denis (north of Paris), where the friendly match between France and Germany (2-0) was played.

"After consulting this morning with the French Football Federation and the British Government, we have decided together that the match between our two countries at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday 17/11/2015 night should go ahead. We will use the opportunity to pay our respects to all affected and also to express our solidarity with the people of France," stated Greg Dyke, president of the English Football Association.
